Description
Here is a multi-color stone lithograph created by Arlice Stadler Siegel on Nov 1966.
This artwork is the actual personal copy of the Artist and being sold here for collectors and those that understand the rarity and wonders of stone lithograph printing. To make a lithograph from stone in multiple colors one has to clean and redress the stone again with each color.
The imagery hidden in the work is astounding. From floating ships to faces in the clouds brings the imaginary to reality. Like a child seeing the images in the sky. From the base where there seems to be housing on one side to mountains on the right and tracks leading ahead into what might even be an old television set. Mountains rise, and form cloud and sky in an ever growing flow. Very interesting piece.
